Weather

Bigova is located on the coast of Montenegro (directly opposite the East coast of Italy) just outside the Bay of Kotor on the Adriatic Sea. It escapes the wet micro climate of the Kotor Bay so conditions in Bigova are ideal for a seaside sun holiday. The coastal area sees plenty of sunshine during the summer- approx 240 sunny days each year. It is not unusual for the Kotor bay to experience heavy rainfall while Bigova remains dry and sunny.

Montenegro enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate with high temperatures in the summer. Early in the season, May enjoys an average temperature or 24C and 8 hours of sun. July and August see average temperatures of 31C, and during this time the sun shines for 10 hours each day- perfect conditions for relaxing by the sea. October sees average highs of 22C and 6 hours of sun, and November dropping down to 17C.
